Who makes all the wonderful  garments?

I grew up in southern California and loved horses for as long as I could remember.  My Mom taught me to sew and I competed and won many awards in 4-H in the clothing and horse projects.  After earning a degree in Home Economics, I attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.  Upon graduating, I went to work in the garment district in Los Angeles as an assistant designer.  I hated working downtown, so I quit and opened my own business designing and manufacturing drill team uniforms. 

My husband and I have 2 grown daughters,  Of course, they both participated in 4-H in the clothing project, but only the youngest was into horses like her Mom.  We showed together on the AQHA circuits till she aged out of the youth division.   It was her last year as a youth that I started making our own show clothes.  Then I started getting requests from people to make clothes for them.
There are alot of designers out there making expensive, high end clothes, I saw a need for  a lower priced, well made garment that isn't produced in the hundreds.  
SHOWFANCY  was born. 

I still show on the AQHA circuits, wining many top honors showing in my creations.
Today at SHOWFANCY  I  make about 200 garments a year.  I do the designing, sewing and embellishment of every garment.
  I try to make each garment to the perfection that I would want and expect in my own clothing.
